Pickford and Black is a high volume restaurant located on the waterfront of downtown Halifax. Our Kitchen team strives to use the best of what the Maritimes has to offer to create a delicious menu that not only incorporates amazing fresh seafood, but also farm fresh local produce, meats, and poultry.
The Duties
- Cleaning dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans and utensils
- Restocking cleaned dishes and utensils
- Ensure dishes are cleaned and stored in a timely fashion
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and dish area
- Comply sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Follow all operations policies and procedures
- Work alongside of the restaurant team to establish a safe and fun atmosphere
The Must Haves
- Positive and outgoing personality
- Love for building strong relations with team members
- Flexibility – Our back of house staff will work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
- Experience working in a kitchen is an asset
- Must possess a desire for personal and professional development
- Ability to multitask and maintain high energy in a fast-paced environment
- A desire to have fun a work, when you have fun our guest do too
