We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Technician to join our seasoned team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, along with a high degree of attentiveness and attention to detail. Additionally, the successful candidate must be adept at multitasking, troubleshooting and accurately following detailed instructions. Must be creative and enjoy coming up with solutions to colour/ paint issues to achieve customer satisfaction. Must be a great team player.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the fundamentals of the colour wheel
- Make colour samples of wood siding to meet customers requests.
- Good record keeping of formula used to make these colour samples.
- Replicate approved colour and make paint for line production
- Make Touch up kits with nails to go with siding order when completed.
- Track inventory of colour pigments and paint
- work with salesman in a creative way to achieve customer satisfaction with their siding colour
- Creatively look for continuous improvement of process and colour/paint application
- Good time management skills and self direction to meet demands of paint line and salesman/customer sample satisfaction

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00-$26.33 per hour
