We are seeking an experienced caregiver who has availability to work afternoons 3 to 5 days a week, with a senior couple in Tsawwassen. We would prefer a caregiver who lives in the Tsawwassen/Ladner area and has a car. Duties include companionship, meal prep, medication reminders, errands and outings. myCareBase is an online platform that connects families who are caring for an aging loved one, with caregivers looking for work. We help families and paid caregivers facilitate the recruitment, vetting and placement process.
We want to help you find more clients! We are seeking people who are registered health care assistants, care aides, or those experienced in providing companionship and personal care services to seniors. You set your own hourly rates, and have control of when and where you want to work. There is no cost to be included on our platform.
Accepted candidates will go through an assessment and vetting process to ensure a consistent level of quality on our platform. This process will include a job reference check (so please be prepared to provide 2 job references) and a criminal background check.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: $25.00 per hour
