Marsh McLennan’s Brand & Creative team is seeking candidates for the following position based in Canada’s Toronto office:

Graphic Designer

We Will Count On You To

• Deliver highly creative designs across a wide range of channels including print, online, social, and event
• Work with and own the brand system, whilst also actively participating in its evolution
• Collaborate with other designers, Art and Creative Directors, whilst also delivering work under your own initiative
• Have great time management and meet deadlines on each project
• Produce all design projects to a high standard and be responsible for the design brief including liaising with the projects leads and requesting advice, proof checks or stage development meetings where necessary to ensure it meets client expectations and always before final approval/delivery
• Own and drive projects forward, working closely with members of the design team to ensure the integrity of the original concept
• To use your experience and knowledge to identify and resolve design, artwork and print challenges
• To work together and collaborate cross team with video, production, and events teams to exceed client expectations, delivering high quality work
• To communicate progress at every stage of the design and artwork process for the smooth running of work and planning schedules, with support from the Project Coordinators
• Continually look for innovative formats and products that could be packaged and sold as part of the Communications offering
• To take responsibility for continuous personal development and learning, helping to identify objectives and opportunities for skills development

What You Need To Have

• 4-year design degree or equivalent professional qualifications
• 3+ years of brand design experience at an agency, in-house, or both
• Broad understanding of different mediums (print/presentations/events/online)
• Ability to demonstrate exceptional communication skills by articulating/justifying conceptual and directional design choices effectively
• Exhibit strong collaboration and interdependence skills, fostering teamwork within the design team and across multi-functional partners
• Openness to feedback by being comfortable giving and receiving constructive criticism.
• A curiosity for growth, willingness to receive creative direction
• Experience in collaborating across geographical and organizational boundaries is highly valued.
• Proven time management skills, with the capability to set priorities and ensure accountability from concept to final design delivery
• Self-motivation and proactive, able to take initiative and work independently while remaining engaged within a dynamic team and organization
• Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced and evolving environments with clearly defined goals and priorities
