We are looking for a Software Engineer who will be working on our flagship product: N-Able N-Central. The N-Central is a core product that is transitioning from an on-premises solution to a Cloud-Native product to be used on a daily basis by thousands of our partners.

We are looking for a Software Engineer who will be working on our flagship product: N-Able N-Central. The N-Central is a core product that is transitioning from an on-premises solution to a Cloud-Native product to be used on a daily basis by thousands of our partners.
What You’ll Do:
- Implement features for large-scale distributed systems with large volumes of data focusing on scalability, latency, and fault tolerance
- Develop RESTful APIs for a rapidly scaling, secure platform, while ensuring successful product delivery and operational excellence
- Aid in troubleshooting and resolving production escalations and issues
- Participate in research and PoC initiatives for cloud-native designs and implementation within public clouds, primarily AWS
- Debug critical hard-to-solve production issues across services and tech stack
- Display excellent verbal and written communication and be able to convey dissenting opinions in a constructive manner, particularly in written communications
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with Java and/or C# Object Oriented Programming
- A passionate software developer who is not afraid to push boundaries, one who is interested in exploring new code and technologies.
- Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs
- Experience with transitioning from SOAP APIs to RESTful APIs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse, talented team
- Proven ability in building high-performance, highly available, and scalable distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance, scalability, and availability
- Knowledge in cloud-native technology stack (AWS) and service-oriented architecture
- A clear understanding of emerging technologies and the ability to apply those principles in solving critical business needs
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another related field
