Description:
We are looking for a Certified Automotive Technician with an OP License for our family-owned mechanical shop in the SW. The Job Type is Permanent, Full-time. We are a thriving business with a variety of work.
This position guarantees at least 40/hr weekly, great benefits and employee incentives. This is a fast-paced position, but we work hard to create an enjoyable environment for everyone.
Responsibilities:
- Read manufacturer’s drawings and manuals
- Diagnose all mechanical and electrical issues
- Basic computer and internet
- Work with digital inspections
- Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
- Keep shop equipment operating (maintain, troubleshoot, repair, etc.)
- Drive manual transmission vehicles
- Use computer diagnostic equipment
- Instructing and mentoring apprentices
Salary:
$27.00-$35.00 per hour
Qualifications and experience:
Automotive Technician 3 years (required). The qualified candidate must be willing to tackle anything and work on any make and model. We specialize in JDM and German-made cars; thus, experience with these vehicles will be an asset.
Licence/Certification:
- Driver’s License (required)
- Journeyman (required)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
