As a Wealth Management Compliance Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining an adequate oversight framework for Wealth Management. Put your expertise to use in ensuring the maintenance of the oversight program, while helping to enhance our practices in order to cover present and future risks.
Your role:
Identify high-risk situations, conduct various analyses and promptly alert regional managers and compliance supervisors to ensure the necessary corrective measures are applied in their region.
Serve as a reference on oversight matters, particularly for compliance supervisors, regional managers and other partners.
Put your expertise to use in ensuring an adequate oversight program is maintained while helping to enhance our practices in order to cover present and future risks.
Protect investors, investment advisors and staff within the Risk Management sector and National Bank
See to the drafting, implementation, documentation, monitoring and control of oversight-related policies, standards and procedures and make recommendations to automate and improve the efficiency of existing processes.
Participate in committees or special projects that require a high level of expertise and represent the Bank in dealings with various organizations, agencies or stakeholders.

Required skills
Completed bachelor’s degree in a related field (Finance, Law, Accounting or Economics)
2 to 3 years of experience in the securities industry
Successful completion of relevant courses, including the Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course
Ability to communicate effectively in English (for dealing with English-speaking partners outside Quebec)
Preferred skills
Investment Dealer Supervisors Course or Branch Managers Course, an asset
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide advice to internal partners
Attention to detail, analytical mindset and agility
