Joining the Risk Management team at National Bank means contributing to the transformation and having a direct impact on clients. You will be part of Strategy and Risks team which has an enterprise-wide mandate. As Senior Manager, Risk Management, Governance, you will lead the evolution and the maintenance of the governance of the subsidiaries’ risk management and of our knowledge management and of risk management framework. Your contribution will help ensure the respect of the subsidiary governance framework, of the risk management framework and that of the durability of our knowledge management.
Your role
As manager, you will exercise your leadership to:
Subsidiaries’ Risk Management Governance
Be responsible of the implementation, maintenance and evolution of the subsidiaries’ risk management governance
Ensure the development and maintenance of governance processes and tools.
Support and challenge partners in the implementation, maintenance and evolution of their governance.
Knowledge Management Governance
Be responsible of the implementation, maintenance and evolution of the governance of knowledge management practices.
Ensure the development and maintenance of governance processes and tools.
Be the leader of the Community of practices of the knowledge management of risk, legal affairs, security, audit and governance domains.
Support and challenge owners in the writing and management of their content.
Risk Management Governance
Ensure the maintenance and evolution of the risk management framework.
Contribute to the evolution of risk management governance practices and help increase operations efficiency to support management in decision-making.

Required skills
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of governance practices, risk management, regulatory environment and activities of the Bank.
Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with partners across Canada and abroad.
Preferred skills
Experience in a context of enterprise-wide transformation.
Proven relational leadership, ability to ensure efficient partnership with stakeholders and to influence.
Proven skills for oral and written communication, for popularizing and synthesizing information.
Agile and results oriented and ability to work in a team with multidisciplinary experts.
Ability to structure complex initiatives and to show innovation skills.
