Transformation Manager, Operations Personal Banking

As a Transformation Manager in Operations Personal Banking, you will manage a team of business process advisors and play an important leadership role in the transformation of the operational sector supported. You will contribute to our mission of coordinating and accelerating the Operations transformation by managing the portfolio of initiatives to achieve the business sector’s objectives. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Business Process Integration, Personal Banking.
You’ll exercise your leadership skills on a daily basis to help your team develop its full potential and support the advancement of strategic initiatives. You’ll direct the transformation and project delivery process in close collaboration with stakeholders, promote the target business vision and implement strategies and activities aimed at making it a reality.
To succeed, you’ll need to leverage your positive, collaborative and motivating leadership, your experience in transformation and project delivery as well as your attention to detail, sense of perspective and ability to imagine the bank of tomorrow.
Your role:
Manage a team of around 7 business process advisors (BPAs) and support them in fulfilling their mandates, assist with their professional development, and help them achieve their full potential
Manage a portfolio of initiatives of varying sizes, with a proactive focus on the required execution and absorption capacity
Identify opportunities to achieve the business objectives of the operational sector supported
Help define the sector’s strategic orientations and actively participate in determining the priority and optimal sequence of initiatives in order to support them
Influence the progress of projects and help define potential target solutions
Continue to implement and standardize simplified execution and project delivery practices based on the scope of initiatives and the team’s process-related practices
Build and maintain partnerships with the numerous stakeholders involved in the projects and processes supported

Required skills:
Completed bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience, or completed master’s degree in a related field and 8 years of relevant experience
Proven experience in resource management
Proven experience in project management and/or project portfolio management
Proven experience transforming and simplifying business processes
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage a team
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
