Who is Native Shoes looking for?
We are on the lookout for Senior Planner to be a powerful voice in shaping, executing, and communicating on our strategic Ecommerce and Retail growth plans. Working alongside your partners in Product, Operations, Ecommerce, Retail, Finance and Sales, you will focus on maximizing sales and margin, while optimizing inventory plans. You are able to maintain a big picture point of view, while focusing on the details, supporting both long term and short term strategic thinking and execution.

What would I be responsible for?
Core Responsibilities
Create bottoms up plans at an item/category level, strategically highlighting opportunity and risk for each season that aligns with top-down financial plans
Partner with the head of planning to deliver a top-down sales plan on current and future seasons, highlighting areas of opportunity and aligning with the company’s 5-year growth plans
Build and maintain an optimized inventory plan to support sales plans across countries and channels
Create an Ecommerce and Retail buy plan during each buying cycle and partner with the Senior Supply Planner through execution
Collaborate with the product team, bringing analytics and product knowledge to support the creation of a merchandise plan for each season, balancing core demand with seasonal newness
Analyze and present weekly business recaps to leaders and cross functional partners, setting action plans and recommendations based on performance trends
Analyze size curve performance and adjust forecasts based on future demand
Strategic Cross Functional Responsibilities
Be a powerful voice in Ecommerce and Retail performance to cross functional partners such as Sales, Finance, Digital Marketing, and Operations, bringing analytical insights to support and drive decision making
Partner with Sales and Marketing to create seasonal strategic sale events, setting pricing and margin targets and staying on top of shifting demand
Team up with the Ecommerce and Retail sales teams to drive business KPI’s such as traffic, conversion, and AOV, being able to speak to the connection between financial sales goals and these metrics
Be a strategic thinking partner to the Digital Marketing team, combining our product strategy with marketing plans during in season execution and during pre-season planning
Preferred Experience
5+ years of Merchandise Planning in Ecommerce or Retail
Bachelor’s Degree in economics, business, finance or equivalent
Experience with e-commerce is a big asset
Proven ability to learn new processes, systems, and programs easily
Experience in working with multiple cross functional teams in executing unified strategic goals
Experienced in telling stories with data, being able to draw actionable insights
Preferred Skills
High level of Excel capability, especially in using large sets of data
Influential in strategic thinking approach
Strong financial business planning acumen with a high level of understanding and experience with retail math and retail financial analysis
Pro active and great at leading self and leading others
Effective communication skills
