Position Summary
We are looking for an Amazon Account Manager based at our Sales Office in Brampton reporting into the VP of Customer Development. This role is responsible for driving sales profitability within the assigned account through effective sales execution of Nestlé Canada sales and marketing initiatives.
A day in the life of…
As an Amazon Account Manager, you will be responsible to develop and achieve the sales business plan for the assigned categories by developing and implementing e-commerce specific strategies through Amazon.ca, managing total trade spend by category, and achieving agreed joint business planning objectives.
You will also:
Participate in and support the development of the Joint Business Plan and provide input / feedback to maintain acceleration and development of Amazon in Canada for all Nestlé categories.
Analyze, identify, monitor and address specific issues to achieve Nestlé’s goals for e-commerce, commercial spend, share, distribution, and operating budgets based on trends, category performance, competitive landscape and product mix financial health.
Effectively manage external relationships, meeting the agreed level of customer contact with SVS, Vendor Managers and other external stakeholders as needed.
Collaborate with eBusiness Shopper Marketing Team to maximize initiatives with Amazon Advertising Group (DEA, DSP, Amazon Search, Amazon Media) and optimize execution with Amazon Retail.
Follow Nestlé’s e-Commerce digital best practices, collaborate, with Center of Marketing Excellence Team best in class execution of PDP Content, Brand stores, Product listings, Variations, A+ Content.
Monitor and manage day to day activities through Amazon Vendor Central (weekly orders, Brand Analytics raw data reporting, Operational Performance, Case Log support).
Develop/customize Category Plan sales presentations; leveraging Category Roadmaps and aligning with Amazon strategy.
Agile management of trade spend towards relevant Promotions and Retail Digital commerce initiatives based on pricing dynamics and key customer events while ensuring respect of balance of trade.
Enter all relevant customer / category promotion plans into the Customer Management Tool (Trade Insight or any other planning tool) in a timely manner to enable accurate forecasting.
Lead, manage and own forecast accuracy for corresponding categories with the support of Customer Demand Planner based on activation plan, price matching dynamics and internal procurement processes.
Be an eCommerce ambassador for the organization, embedding Amazon WoW within Nestle’s operating plan through internal collaboration with Business Units and cross-functional stakeholders.
Align with key internal stakeholders on business execution tactics.
Support/propose action-based solutions for operational changes and efficiencies.

You will have Financial acumen with strong analytical skills with a good understanding of profit & loss drivers and solid planning and forecasting knowledge. Pro-activity, tenacity and enthusiasm are essential, as is your ability to understand and work within our competitive market.
You will also have:
A university degree in a business-related discipline.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a progressive sales role. Experience with Amazon Account Management will be considered a strong asset.
Demonstrated understanding of the online shopping funnel and relevant drivers. Knowledge of Amazon’s flywheel a strong asset.
Fluid capability with online retailer portals and experience in managing large product portfolios. Experience in managing Amazon Vendor Central portal a strong asset.
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Understanding and ease of management of Amazon and digital marketing KPIs (Brand Analytics, Operational Performance, Amazon advertising analytics).
Comfortable comprehension of Amazon Supply Chain Operations.
Self-starter with the ability to think “out of the box” to secure incremental business opportunities.
Good understanding of network applications related to Sales Information.
Computer literacy: Amazon Vendor Central, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other MS applications.
Ideal candidate would also have knowledge and understanding of Profitero/Edge by Ascential platforms.
