Position Summary
We are looking for a Marketing Associate to join a dynamic Nestlé Professional team, based at our North York office, reporting into the Director, Beverages. This role will assist in the development and execution of marketing, channel, and customer initiatives, and perform critical tasks that support the growth ambition.
A day in the life of a Marketing Associate:
As the Marketing Associate for Nestlé Professional, you will have the opportunity to work on the entire portfolio of Brands including Starbucks, Nescafe, Carnation Hot Chocolate, Coffee Mate, and support when needed other Culinary and Confectionery projects. This role offers the ability to execute marketing activities in line with brand strategies, while supporting or leading elements of our end to end business, with autonomy to work closely with key cross functional partners and the support to develop and thrive.
You will also:
- Support the team through the annual planning process, including analysis of brand, consumer and market data to identify trends, issues/opportunities, in order to deliver the season end review, 3 year and annual commercial plan.
- Provide fact based analytical support to identify business issues/opportunities. This will include monitoring and analysing Brand and Category performance vs. KPIs (market share, brand health, profitability)
- Support execution of approved innovation and renovation plans approved budgets and timelines. Assist in developing presentations, sell sheets and sales kit materials while aiding in the integrated commercial planning process
- Responsible for managing Product Fixed Marketing Expenditure (PFME) budgets, tracking and monitoring spending. Contributes to Pre-Post PFME evaluations to assess the impact on the business and against KPIs. Shares learnings across team.
- Routinely perform competitive analysis, to keep the team informed of activity and implications
- Assist in general administration including, event management, preparation of marketing presentations and leads knowledge share/competitive learning during Marketing weekly team meetings

This role requires someone with the flexibility to support critical activities across a variety of functions across the value chain. You will need to be well-organized, results focused and really enjoy working in a highly energetic and collaborative environment. An individual with the curiosity and tenacity to take on new challenges and deliver in a dynamic category will find the opportunities in this role truly rewarding. Some additional qualifications could include:
- University degree in Business, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Recent graduate, or 1-2 experience in analytical marketing/sales positions considered an asset
- Strong analytical skills with high detail orientation and a bias for action
- Strong communication skills, able to disseminate and synthesize diverse and vast data while communicating simply to a non-analytic audience
- Works well independently as well as across various levels and functions to succeed in a highly collaborative, matrix organization
- An energetic self-starter, agile, curious and able to pivot in a fast paced ever changing environment.
- Passion for growth with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a curiosity to learn and challenge the status quo
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Bilingual French /English considered an asset
