Company Description
The New Car Dealers Association of BC (NCDA) is the provincial industry association that represents more than 400 new car and truck dealers throughout British Columbia. The Association deals primarily with the legal, environmental, and consumer issues relating to new vehicle sales in British Columbia. NCDA administers the rebate program on behalf of the province of BC that provides incentives for qualifying new battery electric, fuel-cell electric, and plug-in hybrid vehicles. Additionally, the NCDA owns and manages the Vancouver International Auto Show to be held March 20-24 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
Role Description
This is a Paternity Leave contract replacement offering a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Specialist located in Langley, BC, with flexibility for some remote work. The Auto Show Sales Specialist will be responsible for achieving sales goals, customer service, sales management, and maintaining customer relationships in order to help the organization grow its sponsor, commercial exhibitor and partnership base.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Customer service skills to provide exceptional customer support
- Sales skills to sell products and services effectively
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
