As a Parts Counterperson, you will manage the parts ordering process from request to delivery and beyond. This includes interacting with customers, sourcing and ordering parts, inventory management and quality control. Your aim is to build mutually beneficial relationships with customers and colleagues alike, and work as part of a passionate team to maximize our dealership’s performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and all dealership departments
Advising customers on the most appropriate parts or services for their needs
Responding to the needs of each particular client or assignment
Sourcing suitable parts and ordering them as necessary, maintaining an accurate inventory
Managing the process from the parts request to delivery stage and beyond
Assisting the Parts Manager in resolving discrepancies between computer inventory and actual parts on hand
Offering advice and information on parts and services
Networking to build business information that can be converted into commercial opportunities
The Ideal Candidate:
We will consider any experience and any background; however, our Parts Counterperson must possess:
A strong and proven track record in customer service, networking, and/or inventory management
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong commercial business acumen and analytical skills
A passionate desire to succeed and build a successful career
A winning mentality and the ability to work effectively in a team
The ability to overcome objections and be persistent
