o Completion of a Community College diploma specializing in Human Resources required
o CHRP preferred or in progress
o 2 years’ experience providing high volume full recruitment cycle in an unionized environment
o Human Resources experience within a healthcare setting
o Familiarity with employee/labour relations and collective agreements
o Experience working with HRIS systems
o Excellent customer service skills and demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication
o Good working knowledge of all Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel and Access).
o Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities and perform efficiently in a fast paced environment with attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills
o Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to the vision and mission of the NH
o Flexible, self-directed, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
o Consistent and regular attendance required
o Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code
