Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of registered nursing staff, assist with the care of residents in the long-term care homes in accordance with the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of Senior Services. Report observations and all signs and symptoms of change in a resident (emotional, physical and cognitive) to registered staff. Perform and collaborates as a member of the interdisciplinary team in accordance with the Long-Term Care Homes Act and the Roles and Responsibilities document.

Shift Information
This position will require availability for all shifts (day, evening, night) including weekends and holidays. You must be willing and able to work up to 24 hours per week and declare a minimum availability of 32 hours per week.

In order to be employed in our seniors division or any long term care facility, you must possess a current vulnerable sector police clearance that is less than 6 months old. Although it is at the candidate’s discretion, it is encouraged that you obtain a vulnerable sector police clearance due to the length of process time.
