We are currently looking for a Bilingual Account Services Representative to join our team in Mississauga, ON. This role will be responsible for monitoring all consumer, dealer and vendor correspondence handling and response including insurance tracking and insurance total loss claims, with review of assigned queue and tasks required on a daily basis.
Job functions Include but are not limited to:
Verifies all documentation (e.g. release, correspondence, accounting items, statement of accounts, etc.), noting all correspondence as confidential and contains detailed information and accuracy must be verified
Respond to customer and dealer inquiries according to dept. policies and procedures
Verifies all Insurance documents and works with third party vendor when a mutual customer does not have updated records
Monitors all adjustment processing on loans or leases, due date changes, rewrites, loan auditing, credit bureau updates, transfers of equity, substitutions, parking tickets, extensions and banking information changes and all other account adjustments and changes
Monitors the processing of all retail and lease payoffs, terminations, customer payments, insurance collections on physical damage and total loss, return items, account research, account adjustments, bills of sale and Gap Claims
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma required. University or College Degree preferred
MUST be Bilingual in French and English (Verbal and written).
Minimum 0-1 years’ experience in the area of customer service and administrative duties relating to automotive finance or with a financial institution. (Insurance experience an asset)
Strong communication and problem solving skills
Proficiency in Word/Excel/Outlook as well as a strong comfort level adapting to new computer systems
Good negotiation, influencing and conflict management skills
Ability to multi task and perform under time constraints
