We are currently looking for a Credit Analyst, Commercial Wholesale Automotive to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
This role will be responsible for support & analysis of the Commercial Dealer Credit portfolio, specifically in the evaluation of Dealership Financial Performance. The team actively evaluates New and Current Dealer Loan Requests and Renewals to insure portfolio credit worthiness, sustainable growth, and profitability.
Job functions Include but are not limited to:
Assesses Dealership financial performance & cash-flow, Identify lending opportunities and areas of risk, recommending of appropriate loan structures, and collecting of necessary documentation to complete credit approvals and/or annual reviews
Preparation of Credit Requests that evaluate Dealership portfolios that includes (but not limited to) recommending credit line amounts based on Vehicle Sales Trends, Dealership financial condition, Floor Plan Audit Performance, and retail/lease penetration
Participation in weekly scheduled Credit Committee Meetings, which includes presentation of Commercial Credit Requests
Communication, documentation, and completion of Credit Committee decisions with Dealership customers that includes written & verbal communication, preparation of applicable security documentation (liaising with internal and external legal counsel), and follow-up of security documentation completion with Dealership customers
Monitoring of Dealer Commercial Credit KPI’s, including but not limited to assisting the Commercial Credit supervisor in preparation of monthly Risk Reporting
Support to the Wholesale Credit Supervisor & Wholesale Finance Manager as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
University degree or College Diploma with Study in Business, Finance, Economics is preferred.
1-3 years in Credit experience required, with Commercial Credit experience preferred
Strong Business & Credit Risk assessment skills to mitigate multimillion-dollar loss potential.
Experience reading, understanding and analyzing financial statements is required.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast paced, demanding environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills supported by strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Bilingual (French/English) written and verbal skills preferred
