Position Overview
Region: North America
The VP, Solutions Management role will report to the President and will be a vital member of the Global Leadership team. This role will build a team of solution consulting resources and be responsible for transforming the N.A. presales organization into a presales organization with regional resource deployment. This will include developing and deploying processes, engagement models, protocols, enablement, talent, operating model, infrastructure, and organization structure to support the N.A. presales organization.
In addition to building and leading presales transformation, this role will be responsible for continuing the day-to-day operations, which will require a high level of partnership with sales leadership and building a solid and diverse team to ensure business continuity. This role will require a strong understanding of operational presales, including industry benchmarks and best practices, to lead operations effectively and efficiently.
Position responsibility will be varied and potentially complex, requiring independent judgment, strong written and verbal communication skills, business requirement analysis, positioning, and robust supply chain expertise with deep industry knowledge.
Operations:
Working with the leadership team to formulate overall direction and establish regional strategy, operational duties will include staff recruitment, internal policies and procedures, and day-to-day management of the regional business unit.
The VP will monitor the daily operations of the regional business and work with the leadership team to establish strategic goals for the region and agree on operational policies and budgets.
· Assess customer needs and ensure proper expectations are set to ensure that the product meets customer needs and requirements.
· Communicate with the sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support.
· Provide customer feedback to product and development teams.
· Work with product and development teams to plan for product modifications that meet customer requirements.
· Participates in the development of new products and modification of existing products.
· Quickly learn, apply, and position technical knowledge related to competitor offerings.
· Other related duties, as assigned by the President.
Sales:
The VP will have an essential role in working with the leadership team to ensure the company achieves goals in the region.
With primary responsibility for the N.A. region, the VP will also be responsible for liaising with technology partners, developing the relationships, and identifying new potential partners.
As a result, the role requires in-depth knowledge and understanding of the supply chain and Microsoft ERP industry, NMB’s solution suite, and competitive products.
The VP must also be a good communicator with excellent customer service skills who can quickly navigate any situation to reach desired goals.
Consultancy:
The VP will become a trusted advisor to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders by providing leadership, experience, and credibility, successfully positioning solutions to supply chain business problems.
The VP will build solid relationships with partners, prospects, and customers based on industry and technical expertise, help shape the solution vision and roadmap and collaborate with team members to ensure effective delivery of functional and non-functional solution presentations and workshops.
The VP will also become a key thought leader for NMB, both internally and externally, leading the creation of or providing input into industry points of view, whitepapers, and similar marketing materials. Furthermore, this role will help shape product vision and strategy for the NMB portfolio by translating industry trends, customer needs, and innovative vision into requirements for product roadmaps.
Responsibilities
Operations:
· Collaborate with the Leadership team to determine business strategies and set goals for growth.
· Collaborate with the NMB teams to set and document policies and procedures.
· Oversee in-region day-to-day operations.
· Agree on performance, financial goals, and attainment through team direction and management.
· Assess, evaluate, and report overall team and individual team member performance.
· Manage contracts and relations with customers, vendors, alliance partners, and other stakeholders.
· Oversee regional expenses and budgeting to help optimize costs and benefits.
· Mentor and motivate team members to achieve productivity and engagement.
· Report on operational performance and suggest and implement improvements
Sales & Consultancy
· Lead the day-to-day N.A. Solution Consulting Organization includes executing customer discovery, sales presentations, product demonstrations, and in-depth workshops.
· Work collaboratively with the regional and sales leader to establish a structure to support the growth and scale of NMB’s business.
· Work with the NMB Teams to scope and estimate customer projects.
· Optimize the partnership and support provided to the sales leader.
· Contribute to the global sales leadership team as we continue to transform the Global Sales organization to align with the business growth trajectory.
· Develop a best-in-class organizational structure, succession plan, and career paths to meet the needs of the business for the future.
· Establish N.A. engagement models that align to segmentation, coverage, and capacity standards.
· Build a leadership team to enable a global presales organization.
· Drive efficiency and effectiveness across N.A. Solution Consulting.
· Develop and track key metrics to assess effectiveness, cost, and capacity.
· Model the NMB values and leadership principles.
· Help shape product vision and strategy for the NMB portfolio by translating market trends, customer needs, and innovative vision into requirements for NMB roadmap direction.
· Provide partner, customer, and market feedback to Product Management and Marketing.
· Act as a key thought leader for NMB, both internally and externally, leading the creation of or providing input into industry points of view, whitepapers, and similar marketing materials
· Represent NMB as a thought leader at industry events, trade shows, and user groups
· Educate NMB partners and industry analysts on NMB and the NMB solution offering
· Maintain domain expertise by keeping abreast of new product enhancements, business trends, supply chain best practices
· Maintain non-functional domain expertise in areas including security and data privacy, business/industry trends and expectations regarding infrastructure and hosting capability, and the evolution of messaging standards, data format, and connectivity protocols
Experience
· Sales/Commercial leadership experience
· Experience in sales management and execution, including pipeline, forecasting, use of CRP, and commercial negotiations
· Strong sales presence and superior communication skills
· Supply chain management consulting and implementation project experience
· Significant experience in pre-sales and deployment of enterprise software solutions
· Experience with ERP systems and systems integration
· Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure
· Ability to problem-solve, both independently and working as a team
· Self-Starter Mentality and willingness to travel up to 60% of the time

Salary: $80,000.00-$175,000.00 per year
