Under the direction of the General Manager, the Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for:
The creation and management of an effective marketing plan;
The management of all aspects of Nootka Marine Adventures’ marketing including digital, print, radio, television & video, photography, signage, and more;
The establishment and maintenance of strong partnerships with media outlets, industry partners, and DMOs;
The maintenance of the sales & marketing budget;
The creation and maintenance of an effective sales process;
The oversight of daily activities and performance and mentorship of the sales & marketing team;
Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on sales and reporting current projects, industry trends, and opportunities;
Conducting market research and preparing competitor analyses
We are looking for someone with:
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
Experience in all aspects of planning and implementing a sales & marketing strategy;
Experience in the tourism & hospitality industry;
Relevant knowledge of fishing and outdoor adventure tourism;
Excellent organization and planning skills;
A professional and courteous demeanor;
Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills;
The ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively;
Strong communication and collaborative skills
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
