PROCESS ENHANCEMENT COORDINATOR
FACULTY OF SKILLS AND FOUNDATIONAL LEARNING
NorQuesters are difference makers and we’re searching for someone dedicated to findway ways forward to join our Business Operations team as a Process Enhancement Coordinator.
Reporting to the Manager, Business Operations, the Process Enhancement Coordinator will utilize their excellent administrative skills in Microsoft Office applications, LEAN training, and project management skills to incubate and lead initiatives that make a real measurable difference for the LINC Business Operations team. You will use your critical thinking and data analytics ability to identify transformation or process enhancement opportunities aligned with academic and operational requirements and resources.
The position works with various stakeholders and looks for synergies and process enhancement opportunities and supports the Business Operations Manager and LINC Business Operations leadership to identify enhancement projects to improve and streamline business. The ideal candidate leads from where they are and has experience completing process enhancement projects in alignment with organizational standards.
This is currently a casual position offering full-time work until June 30, 2023 with a possibility of extension.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Understand the student life cycle and flow of work across classes offered by LINC to facilitate the enhancement/development of processes and templates and make further recommendations.
Work with the Business Operations Manager, LINC Coordinator, and Project and Systems Coordinator to ensure synergy across the program’s administrative planning, executing, and planned projects and processes.
Identify and deliver on a portfolio of projects to improve and streamline existing operational processes and templates to optimize staff experience.
Analyze, design, and implement multiple process improvements.
Partner and act as a resource in identifying and prioritizing efficiencies for various points in the academic term and developing administrative structures.
Identify, own, and implement initiatives that improve operational processes all the way through sustained benefits realization to increase quality and value.
Build and maintain consistent networks within the LINC Business Operations team and service areas to facilitate efficiencies.
Support new staff by developing a training program to build standardization and efficiency.
Understand all program administrative roles and functions to document and outline work flow through the term and during term change over periods.
Develop, maintain, and implement administrative procedures that document and support staff operational and training needs.
Participate on or facilitate organizing groups and committees as required.
Conduct training on process improvement and change management methodology and tools as required.
Maintain and develop appropriate records, queries, and reports in the PeopleSoft Student database.
Understand and support work in other LINC databases such as iSTEDY and iCare.
Ensure accurate and secure maintenance of electronic data and files.
In consultation and collaboration with Compliance, review and analyze documents and redesign filing system to meet college standards.
Connect and liaise with the FSFL Coordinator, Administration, LINC Coordinator and Manager, Business Operations for training, professional development, business process synergies, and change management roll out.
WHAT YOU BRING
3+ years in an academic setting with knowledge of business operations processes and procedures.
Business, Administration, Business Analysis, or Computer Technology diploma or equivalent experience.
CCAP, PMP, or CBAP designation and LEAN training would be an asset.

Preferred experience working in an educational setting.
Experience with change management and staff training.
Experience with MS Office and Power Apps, with advanced level proficiency with Word and Excel.
Advanced proficiency in PeopleSoft Student.
Process improvement expertise.
Experience working within, reviewing, and developing training on databases, filing, and template development.
SALARY: $25.36-$32.96 reflective of what you bring, AKA your education and experience. This is a casual position with an additional 11.2% in lieu of vacation and holidays.
