Position Scope:
Site: Kearl
Schedule: 14×14 (Days and nights)
Accommodations: Camp provided
Transportation: Flights provided to and from Edmonton or Calgary
Overtime: Currently at Kearl they have blended rates with no overtime
Hourly Rate: Up to $53.85 per hour
Daily Attraction Bonus: Kearl is offering a daily attraction bonus for days worked at $85/day
Kearl Advantage: Kearl is offering a travel allowance per rotation. Amount determined based on location. Travel allowances will be paid to/from location.
NACG is looking for Dozer Operators to work on a remote mining site in the Fort McMurray area. You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else.

The successful candidate will be required to join the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 955.
Responsibilities:
- Must have two years experience on Dozers D9 or larger and be willing to provide shovel support out at site
- Experience in mining environment and working around other equipment is an asset
- Attentive and good listening skills
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, and/or post-secondary education is considered an asset.
Summary:
All successful candidates must:
- Be proficient in English, both verbally and written
- Have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Have experience as requested as mentioned above
- Subject to Random Testing at: Suncor, Suncor Fort Hills and Kearl sites
- Undergo and successfully pass the following testing:
- Breath Alcohol Test
- Urine Drug Test
- Fitness-to-Work Assessment
- Audiometric Testing
- Vision Screening
- Criminal Record Check
Shift, site, and start times are subject to change.
All successful candidates MUST provide the following items prior to confirmation of their start date:
- CSO Certification
- Copy of Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Copy of recent Driver’s Abstract
- VOID cheque/direct deposit form
Once dispatched the following processes will occur:
- Will receive a call from NACG to set up all required pre-employment testing
- An email will be sent with all required New Hire Paperwork to be filled out
- After all results are received by NACG candidates will be contacted by Site Admin to schedule orientation and confirm your start date and other site specific details.
