Oversees the financial and payroll departments. Overall responsibility for the planning, executing and reporting of

This position requires travel throughout the Region.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in good standing (combination of education and direct
work experience in Healthcare finance leadership, specifically related to financial operations, healthcare funding
and healthcare budgeting may be considered)
- Post-secondary degree in Business/Accounting
- Valid Manitoba Class V driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and willingness to travel the region year-round
- Five (5) years’ supervisory/management experience
- Five (5) years’ comprehensive experience related to the position
- Extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of financial accounting and management in publicly funded
structure
- Thorough knowledge of all relevant federal, provincial and organizational requirement regarding financial records
and requirements
- Thorough knowledge of Windows based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet
- Knowledge of computerized accounting systems
- Knowledge of computerized reporting and budgeting systems
- Knowledge of budget preparation and analysis techniques
- Satisfactory employment record required
- Successful candidate subject to provide security checks in accordance with Security Checks for Employment
Policy (HR-02-80), if not on personnel file
