Salary:
Classification 10, $27.15 – $27.99/hour, as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Temporary employees also receive an additional 2% on regular earnings in lieu of benefits, as well as having 6% vacation pay paid out with each pay.
Description:
As a member of our Admissions team, this position provides administrative and process support to both the team and College applicants. This includes fielding admission inquiries from the public, prospective students, applicants, and College stakeholders. This position also provides preliminary qualification review, data processing, and record-keeping functions in the Admissions Office and generating established official communications for applicants.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years related experience and a minimum of 1 year of post-secondary education, with a certificate in office administration or business administration preferred. An equivalent combination of experience may be accepted. Experience and proficiency with a current version of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) is required. Experience with student records registration system is an asset.
The successful candidate must successfully complete a comprehensive clerical test.
