WHO YOU ARE

As a Senior HR Business Partner you will have responsibility for the leadership and coordination of all Human Resources activities within the country and primary support for the Asset Servicing line of business. You are a trusted advisor and have a solid understanding of local HR policies, procedures and solutions that help achieve client and service objectives.

You understand the principles of exceptional client partnership and the importance of accuracy and confidentiality when delivering information. You sit at the intersection of strategy and execution and want to help get things done. WHAT YOU’LL DO

As the regional Senior HR Business Partner you will serve as the primary relationship manager with assigned business leaders. You will balance being part of the leadership team with a hands on approach in developing, leading and executing HR solutions for the business and various cross-functional HR programs.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Using your consulting skills to understand what the business does, their products/services, and developing and executing upon a plan to address their talent needs.
• Taking accountability for relevant external regulatory HR requirements and maintaining risk management and compliance program activities for employees.
• Being an member of the Canadian Leadership Team to provide direct input and influence of the location business strategy, workforce strategy, workplace policies and employee engagement.
• Building relationships with local leaders and employees and being their point of escalation for functional HR issues in location.
• Collaborating and communicating information across lines to ensure effective coordination between business clients, HR Consulting Function partners (various geographies) and COEs to strategically deliver HR solutions.
• Playing a lead role consulting with managers on talent assessment, career planning, performance management, and compensation planning activities.
• Partnering with Centre of Excellence teams; Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation, Learning & Development to creatively attract and retain high quality, diverse and engaged workforce.
• Ensuring compliance on all HR related company guidelines and policies, as well as compliance with all regional, country, local, and company regulations; participating in ER activities when they arise.
