Northland Floral Looking for Logistics Coordinator at Lincoln, ON Full Time

Established in 1995, Northland Floral Inc. has flourished into a blossoming fresh cut flower, bouquets, and potted plant distributor. In the heart of the Niagara Region, we provide floral products daily to multiple of the largest retailers throughout North America.

Due to strong growth in our business and continued plans for expansion, Northland Floral is looking for a US Logistics Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

· Data entry

· Daily sales support

· Day to day assistance / support to the VP US Logistics/Sales Operations US

· Create driver load orders

· Monitor sales orders to ensure minimums are met

· Communicate with outside carriers

· Communicate daily with carriers to indicate floral needs

· Problem solve daily warehouse shortages / issues and communicate with drivers and sales team to ensure accurate invoicing as needed

· Daily interaction with US Sales team

· Daily communication with warehouse to advise on order entry / shipping changes

· Identify opportunities to optimize transportation for cost and service to customers

· Other duties as prescribed by the VP US Logistics/Sales Operations US.

Qualifications:

· Post-secondary education; background in Supply Chain, Business, Sales, or Logistics is preferred

· An understanding of the Horticulture industry or experience in a similar role will be an asset but not a requirement

· Enthusiastic, energetic, personable, and friendly disposition

· Ability to provide solutions to ever-changing scenarios; must be a quick thinker

· Strong verbal and written English communication skills

· High attention to detail

· Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel
