Description Hybrid work schedule – please note that this position can also be filled in any of our offices across Canada Defining and implementing our corporate brand narrative and marketing communications (MarCom) strategies both on – and offline in the Canadian market would be a great challenge for you? Working with a broad range of people, including both direct and indirect teams of designers, writers, marketers, event specialists, digital practitioners and supporting agencies resonate with you? You will be focusing on :
Brand and advertising
- Define and lead the brand strategy (visual identity, narrative and tone of voice) and embed its application consistently across the business
- Research and develop the brand media strategy placement plans for the firm
- Manage the firm’s media agency relationship to identify strategic goals relating to communication, including positioning and creative development.
- Establish branding guidelines and ensure implementation throughout the firm
- Develop the “client experience” for all external client interactions for the Canadian firm, particularly in digital marketing, events, webinars and our website
- Lead brand integration in the event of any alliance relationships, integrations or co-branded initiatives
- Deliver, embed and improve systems used in the business to efficiently deliver cost-effective, brand consistent, high-quality marketing communications
- As the Canadian brand lead, is a collaborative and active member of the global brand team
Digital strategy
- Work closely with Director, Digital to ensure strategic content on the Canadian website and in social media
- With both the Digital and Marketing teams, develop and deliver high-impact, cost-efficient digital vehicles, including the firm’s website, intranet, and social media channels
- Provide digital marketing and content amplification recommendations across Clients & Markets and in the various practices. Implement content amplification campaigns
- Analyze and provide reporting and insights for all digital campaigns for ongoing optimization in order to enhance current and future marketing initiatives
- Oversee the cross-functional team and vendors responsible for the delivery on all key brand projects
- Ensure digital is embedded in all marketing campaigns and activities where appropriate
Core marketing
- Work with leaders to support the development and implementation of campaign plans for the Canadian market to strategically promote Norton Rose Fulbright’s market priorities. T
- Work collaboratively with Corporate Communications, to support the delivery of internal and external communications plans and their related activities
- Oversee the Alumni Relations Manager role responsible for defining and implementing an alumni program
- Essentially, lead an in-house agency responsible for content creation (editorial team), creatively conceptualizing and coordinating all production for the Canadian firm’s assets (video, audio, still photography, desktop design, etc.)
- Responsible for creating and managing an editorial calendar for all in-market activities ensuring our message and content is reaching our target at the right time in the right way, thereby defining our “client experience”
- Manage our merchandising program, Boutique
What you bring to the role:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in a corporate environment. Prior experience working in a B2B environment is required, professional services.
- Post-graduate degree in marketing, business or communications is required
- Brand strategy and management experience
- Direct experience with editorial and production
- Proven ability to understand how to deliver integrated marketing campaigns and programs to both a broad and specific target audience
- Understanding of SEO and digital ROI
- Active interest and experience in social media, including LinkedIn and Instagram
- Cultural sensitivity with the ability to understand the perspective of international teams.
- Must demonstrate excellent business judgment capable of advising leaders and professional marketers on approaches
- Exceptional people management skills
- Bilingualism an asset
