Nova Psychology is a premier psychological service provider and fully licensed private practice committed to offering the most elevated and leading edge mental health services to our clients in the southwest Edmonton area and surrounding communities. Our practice offers our clients (individuals, couples, families and children) a full suite of mental health and psychological services including a specialty in utilizing the most up to date, ethically sound, and evidence-based modalities to support each individual’s journey towards mental health and wellness.
We are hiring a Registered Psychologist! This position pertains to contract work and collaboration with other professionals in multidisciplinary teams in order to develop a cohesive treatment plan for their clients. Qualifications
- Appliciants must have a Master’s Degree or higher in Psychology
- Registered Psychologist in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP)
- 2+ years of experience providing therapy
- Provision of culturally competent and sensitive services is required
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required
- Have professional liability insurance
Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the following therapeutic modalities considered an asset:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- EMDR
- Mindfulness Based
- Somatic Therapy (Body Centered)
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
- Emotionally Focused Therapy
