About The Opportunity
Reporting to the Zone Directors of Pharmacy and Diagnostic Imaging & Cardiac Investigation Services the Confidential Secretary / Administrative Assistant coordinates administrative requirements and activities for both Zone Directors as well as the management team of the two departments.
This individual performs a wide variety of administrative, secretarial, and coordination duties. This includes, but is not limited to, general office duties (typing, faxing, scanning, filing, photocopying, collating, etc.) as well as specific coordination duties (booking/arranging meetings, conferences, accommodations, etc.).
This position also provides administrative support to both Medical Leads in the Northern Zone for Radiology & Pharmacy.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Graduate of a recognized office administration program/business program/secretarial program.
- Minimum of five years experience in a health care environment providing administrative support & office coordination at the executive level OR a combination of equivalent education, training, and experience
- Advanced working knowledge of computers required, including Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Database Programs.
- High degree of initiative, diligence, attention to detail and self-discipline/focus required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision required.
- Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to respectfully work with a variety of inter-professional team members required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritizing and organizational skills.
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.

Hours
- Permanent full time position; 75 hours biweekly
Compensation and Incentives
$22.97 – $28.71 hourly
