Construction Estimator
We are looking for an energetic + competitive Estimator to join our growing team who, reporting directly to the Director of Estimating + Preconstruction. This role will be responsible for estimating hard tender and construction management projects. This role is based at our Surrey Office, but we offer remote + flexible working arrangements.

- Calm – ability to manage fast paced estimating environment and stay calm under pressure
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Training in estimating procedures and quantity survey
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and On-Screen take-off software
- Must have excellent command of the English language, verbal and written
- Post-secondary, technical education (BCIT) or similar in a construction or industry-related program
- Previous experience estimating commercial construction projects would be an asset
Responsibilities:
- Strategic planning to determine best approach to pricing and tendering
- Tender document review to determine necessary scopes and subcontractors
- Solicitation of contractor bids
- Distribution of plans to qualified bidders
- Data entry of contractor proposals
- Follow-up and review of contractor bids
- Finalize tender documents and submissions for projects ranging in value from $500K- $10M
- Manage and maintain a directory of suppliers and contractors
