We are looking for enthusiastic and safety conscious individuals to join our team as Rebar Fabricators.
Purpose: Operate an overhead crane in a rebar fabrication shop.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor Harris Rebar’s vision and values
- Perform all tasks with the upmost regard for safety of oneself and the safety of others
- Load and unload trailers and store material in storage bins
- Assemble and load orders onto trailers for shipping
- Operate an overhead crane
- Operate equipment that cuts and bends reinforcing steel bars to specified shapes
- Maintain the shop or designated area in a clean and safe manner
- Assist other teammates in any of the above tasks
Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Must have basic math skills to calculate bar measurements
- Must be able to read a tape measure (metric system preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands
- Must be able to safely lift 50 pounds, some heavy lifting may be necessary
- Working conditions can be noisy/dusty/hot/cold
Special Demands
- Overtime hours may be required to accommodate operational demands
- Must be able to work any shift and have flexibility with changes to start times
- Must be familiar with and adhere to shop safety policies and procedures
