How can you grow with Nufarm?
Based in Calgary, AB Nufarm is looking for a Tolling Material Planner who will be responsible to develop and deliver a comprehensive material plan to the procurement organization fully align with tolling production plan and inventory strategy.
What will you be doing?
Responsible for execution of the Material Requirements Plan of designated ingredients in the agreed horizon. Actions include the preparation, review, and confirmation of planned orders.
Timely conversion of suggestions to purchase requisitions and resolved exceptions.
Provide an efficient material plan and align with relevant stakeholders such as Production Schedulers and the Regional Material Planner.
Manage inventory levels and transactions.
Monthly reporting as required in alignment with the IBP process and continuous improvement activities.
Responsible for the validation of material readiness and creation of a viable Material Requirements Plan for tolling.
Support relevant demand and supply forums – in particular, RCCP for tolling
Close alignment and review between Regional Supply Planning Manager and Regional MRP Manager.
Close alignment with Procurement to have identified quantity and type of items which needs to be purchased.
Facilitate weekly/monthly MRP reviews with toller planners to determine risk profile around constrain material.
What do you bring?
You hold a Diploma or Bachelor level qualification in Supply Chain Management or related field of CPIM (APICS or similar proof of skills/ educational background) The right candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience in Operational Supply Chain and Supply Planning with a mindset of a business owner. As well as experience using an integrated supply planning system. You have excellent communication, analytical, and technical skills with ability to manage meetings, coordinate and negotiate. You have demonstrated leadership experience in a supply chain planning/distribution role along with great knowledge of tools and processes in tolling planning.
