About the Role
We are currently looking for an energetic, communicative and process oriented Product Analyst to join our product management team. This role will entail working closely with key stakeholders to identify the requirements and process necessary for implementing technical solutions, improvements, and workflows with the Atlassian tool suite.
The Product Analyst interacts with product and platform users and stakeholders, both internal and external to Numeris, to get their input on current and future products and platforms.
Role Details
The Business System Analyst, Product Analysis & Design will:
Maintain business requirements frameworks to effectively capture, analyze, and communicate product and platform needs;
Create and maintain product documentation such as product specifications and user story maps
Design and develop workflows; gather business/technical requirements, define and socialize user story mapping; assist in developing mechanisms to automate manual processes
Work with peers (Research, Operations, IT and Client Services) on new product and platform implementations and enhancements;
Maintain frameworks to effectively define business data requirements and governance
Lead or assist business related projects and provide expertise with the product roadmap in mind
Monitor competitors’ product offerings as well as market conditions
Stay updated with the latest trend of the industry technologies and approaches

Skills & Experience
The Product Analyst has:
3-5 years of experience as Product Analyst or comparable role
Deep understanding of the product design principles
Experience working in both Agile and waterfall environment
The ability to translate complex technical solution to plain business language
A solid understanding of project management methodologies
Experience working with both business stakeholders and IT Operations
Sufficient technical knowledge to participate in technical solutioning
The ability to perform under pressure with a can-do attitude
The ability to take responsibilities and deliver results under minimal supervision
Demonstrable experience showing strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and active listening skills
Experience customizing JIRA projects with various schemas, complex workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes considered as a strong asset
Technical knowledge in database design/maintenance (ability to design and execute SQL scripts considered as a strong asset)
