Sales Representative
Landscape Irrigation and lighting sales representatives work with clients and suppliers within Simcoe Muskoka to design, plan, install systems and lighting, quote jobs, meet with clients and earn additional pay on top of proceeded contracts. Ideal candidate will also select needed products and place orders from suppliers for jobs. Sales representatives call on current and prospective customers to develop relationships, identify leads, take orders, help solve problems, and train technicians to install and maintain irrigation systems and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Call on current and prospective clients and introduce new products and technologies, and generate orders to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas.
- Assist customers with questions about manufacturer’s products and applications, including providing technical troubleshooting and training on irrigation system design, installation and maintenance.
- Track and document sales leads, customer service issues and general account status.
- Work with the owner to address customers needs and manage a crew.
- Monitor changing market conditions; product innovations; and competitors’ products, prices, and sales.
Education & Experience
- Diploma of irrigation required or sub.
- 1 year with sales / marketing preffered
- three to five years irrigation sales, and irrigation or agriculture experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success meeting sales goals and growing sales.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
