The Office of Mayor Olivia Chow is hiring a Tour Assistant. We are seeking a highly-motivated individual, with exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills to help manage the Mayor’s busy schedule, build strong relationships, and provide direct support to her as she connects with all corners of the city.
Reporting to the Manager of Tour, the Tour Assistant is responsible for planning the Mayor’s participation in public events, liaising with event organizers, staffing the Mayor at events and bringing stakeholder and resident needs from events back to the team.

Full-time indefinite contract for the duration of the term of office.
Salary band: $70,000 to $85,000.
Anticipated start date: May 13, 2024.
This position requires work in the evenings and on weekends, often on a Thursday to Monday schedule. It is in-person, based out of City Hall with significant travel across the city.
