The Position:
As the Painting Supervisor at OCR, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and ensuring the successful management and completion of our painting projects. This position supervises and schedules work for the paint division of our company.
In this role, you’ll be instrumental in setting up the department from scratch. Initially, it’ll be a hands-on experience until we bring in more team members when the time is right. As the business grows, so will our team, and you’ll play a key part in making that happen.
.Should possess the expertise to estimate project costs based on square footage and linear footage values and principles.
· Supervising and leading a team of painters to ensure high-quality workmanship and timely project completion.
· Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
· Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and support.
· Accurately assessing project requirements and providing detailed quotes.
· Generating work requests, assigning, distributing, and coordinating work with clients, staff, and contractors.
· Implementing and controlling systemized painting processes and best practices.
· Demonstrating proficiency in various finish techniques, surface preparation, and thorough cleanup.
· Inspecting finished products and ensuring the availability of paint supplies required for tasks and projects.
· Maintaining a strong health and safety record, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
· Providing first aid training and support if required.
Applicants should be service-oriented, with meticulous attention to detail, have proficiency with computers, and be comfortable leading a small – medium sized team.
Previous Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential and commercial painting, working on projects ranging from 1000 to 10,000 sq. ft.
