OKV Chartered Professional Accountants Looking for Senior Accountant at Penticton, BC Full Time

Located in Penticton known for its beautiful lakes and wineries and vacation paradise, we are continually looking for new team members to join us as we expand our services. We provide services to a vast array of businesses throughout BC and Alberta.

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities would include:

• Preparation and review of compilation and review engagement files including all associated working papers.
• Preparation and review of personal and corporate tax returns.
• Preparation and filing of other government tax filings as required.
• Analyzing complex financial reports and records.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
• Other duties as required.

The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:

• 3+ years of public practice experience.
• CPA (CPA, CA; CPA, CMA or CPA, CGA) designation would be preferred.
• Strong planning and time management skills and the ability to prioritize work assigned.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and to provide solutions to assist in meeting the needs and expectations of clients.
• Ability to work with various accounting and tax software such as Quickbooks, Caseware, Taxcycle and Sage.
• Ability to effectively work with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

We provide a flexible working environment with remote work options for this full-time, permanent position. Salary is dependent on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
