About the Role:
We are currently looking for a warranty/service plumber to work full-time and on-call to provide support for our projects after completion. This can include work such as repair or replacement of plumbing fixtures, leak investigations and repairs, heating and gas work, and other work as required by the job. The Service Plumber will be provided with a company van and tools, and will become part of our awesome Omega team that is constantly growing and innovating. This position will be supplemented with work on our various construction sites to ensure full hours every week, so you will get a variety of work and consistent pay!
No Drain Cleaning, this is trouble shooting and clean work.
Responsibilities:
Conducting warranty service to various sites as needed
Accurately tracking materials used and hours worked
Maintaining truck stock and ordering material as required
Filling out site reports as needed
Documenting pre-existing damages
Documenting job progress with photos and detailed descriptions
Qualifications:
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in the Plumbing/Gas fitting industry
Valid BC drivers’ license with clean record
Base knowledge of applicable codes
Ability to work alone with minimal supervision
Proficiency in English- reading and writing
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow direction, instructions and work orders
High level of customer service skills and professionalism to meet our standard of quality
Physical abilities: must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs, bend, crouch, and climb- you may be required to use ladders or enter small spaces in this position.
