POSITION: Financial Controller
SUMMARY:
We are looking for a hands-on finance leader with considerable experience working in a professional services or member-based environment in the private, public or non-profit sectors. You aspire to excellence in the financial and operational affairs of your organization. You bring innovation and adaptability to your leadership role. Experienced and knowledgeable, you are able to work with a compact and nimble team to adapt to new opportunities provided by government contracts and funding. University Degree and CPA designation required.

Reports to: Vice President, Finance
Location: Downtown Toronto (Note: Currently, all OCC employees are working from home and any attending at the office are subject to comprehensive Covid precautions. We anticipate a graduated return to office that will accommodate a hybrid work-from-office and work-from-office model.)

About the role:
Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Financial Controller will be responsible for the organization’s finance and accounting functions including planning, implementing, and managing all financial activities. The role will be responsible for all aspects of Financial Management, including maintaining data and accuracy using accounting systems, membership fees, renewals and sponsorships, financial reporting, coordination of the budgeting process and completing statutory/regulatory compliance/reporting.

Salary: $80,000-$90,000 per annum commensurate with qualifications and experience
Anticipated start date: Immediately based on availability
