Ontario Health is seeking a medical editor to join its Quality division. The Quality division works with its partners across the province to improve patient care, experience, and safety. It develops resources and tools to advance and promote quality improvement in Ontario.
The primary function of the medical editor is to provide editing and writing support to the Quality division and the broader Clinical Institutes and Quality Programs portfolio. The medical editor will work with writers in multidisciplinary teams to support the delivery of evidence-based content that aligns with Ontario Health’s strategy and vision.
Reporting to the team lead of Editors and Writers and working other editors, writers, and members of the Strategy and Operations team, the medical editor will apply strong editing and writing skills to a variety of reports written for a wide range of audiences (e.g., policy makers, practitioners, and the public).
