SCOPE:
The Community Engagement Coordinator will provide communication, collaboration, and planning support to the ONWA Community Development Portfolio. The Community Engagement Coordinator will develop, implement, and support community engagement activities as part of the Community Development team. In addition, the Community Engagement Coordinator will ensure that engagement functions and resources are effectively integrated, organized, and leveraged to meet strategic and operational needs. They will be responsible for developing and enhancing key community relationships and improving engagements with ONWA services and membership, Indigenous Communities, and internal and external stakeholders.

The Community Engagement Coordinator will be directly accountable to the Director of Community Development for the proper completion of the functions outlined in the job description.
