OpenRoad Auto Group is currently seeking to expand our team with a Full-Time Lease Accountant – OpenRoad Head Office.

As a Lease Accountant at OpenRoad Auto Group, your responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Process leasing transaction
Lease administration
Review related accounting schedules
Supporting month-end and year-end close processes for leases and preparing reconciliations for related balance sheet accounts
Preparing and maintaining lease accounting policies and procedures, as well as participating in training of relevant finance personnel
Keep track of auto lease and finance portfolio
Reconcile transactions among various entities
Monitors lease activity to ensure appropriate accounting
Sets up and maintains accounting and fiscal control records
Prepare monthly reports
The ideal candidate should possess the following capabilities:
CPA or CPA student at Final Exam level
Experience in leasing business
Automotive retail industry and handling auto lease and finance portfolio is a great asset
Knowledge of CDK/Reynolds & Reynolds, One-Eighty, LPM or equivalent system.
Use accounting concepts, wide-ranging experience, analytical skills, and knowledge of industry to identify and resolve issues in creative and effective ways
Knowledge of credit approval is an asset
Able to handle extremely high-volume transactions efficiently and work under pressure and tight deadlines
Experience in A/R
