THE OPPORTUNITY:
Part of the OpenText North American Employee Relations team, reporting to the Senior Director of Employee Relations, the Senior Employee Relations Advisor is a key member of the newly developed Employee Relations Centre of Excellence. The role will provide coaching to Leaders, HR staff, and employees on Employee Relations matters such as attendance and performance management, as well as medical and religious accommodations in support of the Employee Relations centralized team model. The Employee Relations Advisor will also take lead in the development of tools, templates, processes and reference materials, or other projects in support of the ER Centre of Excellence function. Ideally, they will have subject matter knowledge in North American Employment Legislation and practices, however as we are looking to hire one role in Canada and one in the US and expertise in either is sufficient.
