JOB SCOPE

Opla is currently looking to add a Quality System and Document Control Administrator to join its team. The successful candidate will report to the R&D Manager and be based out of Calgary, AB.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  Champion API Q1 Quality System software.
  
• Maintain proper document flow and control: Engineering drawings, Design Binders, MOC, ECR, ECN, etc.
• 
  Ensure consistency in part numbers, descriptions, drawing standards, document formats, etc.
• 
  Interact and compliant support with internal and external groups.
• 
  Review documents for completion and accuracy.
• 
  Initiate corrective action for continuous improvement and efficiency of document requirements.
• 
  Perform periodic archiving and audits to maintain document standards.
• 
  Support in the collection, entry, and distribution of document procedures.
• 
  Follow all Opla policies and procedures, completing the required safety training.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• 
  2+ years’ previous experience with document control.
• 
  Previous experience with API or ISO quality systems, is preferred.
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in analyzing data, problem identification and resolution.
• 
  Proficient in MS Office to enable competency in all aspects of day-to-day operations involving word, excel, and outlook.
• 
  Strong reading comprehension and proofreading skills.
• 
  Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 
  Ability to effectively interface with different departments within the company.
• 
  Must be able to work in a team environment in a fast-paced and highly energetic workplace.
•
