About the Position
We are looking for a capable and organized Office Administrator & Customer Support Coordinator to help us continue to grow and thrive. This position will provide administrative and back-end support to the head office and off-site warehouses, and will work closely with the Operations Manager to provide friendly and effective support and exceptional customer service.
You should enjoy coordinating with and helping others, putting everything in its right place, and solving problems, and should be at your best working independently within a supportive small team environment. Strong communication skills, superior attention to detail, and a genuine approach to collaboration are key to this position. The ideal candidate will have a customer-oriented and team-focused approach to working with others and finding solutions, a high level of efficient organization, and will be able to filter and process information to coordinate and problem-solve effectively.

Selected candidates will be contacted by email and/or phone for initial interviews, and applicants will be reviewed on an ongoing basis until the position has been filled. This is a current opening with an ideal start date of late November to early December 2022.
What to Expect in the Hiring Process
Initial interviews will be conducted by phone, with secondary interviews for selected candidates to be held via Zoom or other video software. Final interviews and/or offers will be conducted in person at the office, where distancing policies will be in effect and masks are welcome, but not currently required. Please feel free to raise any related questions or concerns during the interview process; our policies are changing regularly as new guidance or information becomes available.
Hybrid / WFH Options
This position is expected to be a primarily in-person role requiring regular attendance at the office – however, in the past few years, we have moved to a hybrid model of remote and in-person work. Resources to allow remote work will be supplied as needed, and we will closely monitor the situation and follow guidance regarding in-person interaction. The orientation and training for this position will be completed in person at the office, and employees must be located in Toronto and have the ability to work in this location. Following orientation and training, flexible / hybrid WFH scheduling may be possible, while also maintaining regular in-person attendance.

Please note that proof of double vaccination and eligible boosters is required for all employees.
As we have moved forward and returned on a regular schedule to the office, we have instituted separated offices and/or work spaces greater than 6′ apart. We rely on regularly updated policies informed by current circumstances and/or guidance from health officials, and ensure that cleaning and sanitizing supplies are available to all employees. We have previously operated a rotating schedule of alternating in-person hours combined with work-from-home days, and may return to this schedule as needed in the future.
These policies are in place to protect all employees and their families, as illness in the workplace (of any kind) is detrimental to all. Our best practice is to take steps to ensure health and wellness in the workplace as much as possible.
