Description:
Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, the duties of a Line Cook include executing the menu on line to EC standards, prepping MEP for following shifts, and assisting the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef with functions and daily evolving tasks.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of a Line Cook include, but are not limited to:
Setting up stations to EC standards
Maintaining a clean work station to EC standards
Maintaining FIFO practice
Uphold safety and hygiene to EC high standards
Break down station
Checking dates on all stock in station
Leaving work stations clean, organized and sanitized to the EC standard for the next shift
Recording any stock that was used to completion or near completion
Maintain a positive and professional attitude conductive to desired kitchen culture
