We are looking for a Director of Finance to support our business growth in Toronto. This is a full-time position. The Director of Finance is responsible for driving value by providing financial and data analyst support to ensure that key drivers of the business are quantified and well understood, the right business decisions are made among competing options, and that capital is being deployed as efficiently as possible.

How you will contribute:

• Overall controllership of Corporate Real Estate accounting operations and procedures for OTT’s real estate portfolio
• Financial reporting deliverables of CRE Accounting Operation and Procedures
• Maintain operational governance and compliance activities over Lease and Property Accounting processes and internal/external audit support
• Provides input into the planning and implementation of financial programs to manage the fiscal period close processes.
• Works in conjunction with others to ensure sign-off and attest to reported financial results.
• Analyses data and information to provide financial performance insights and recommendations for consolidated business financial statements.

What you bring to the table:

• University Degree/College Diploma in Business/Finance/Economics, combined with a CPA/CFA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in Finance and/or Accounting roles with experience in fast paced environments, experience in real estate or property management industry will be an asset.
• Thorough knowledge of IFRS and financial statement disclosure requirements
• Knowledge of corporate tax compliance requirements and experience in completing tax returns and IFRS financial statements preparation
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively analyze, deliver, and present financial information to wide-ranging audience with ease and problem-solving skill
