Oxford Optometry Looking for Optometric Assistant at Woodstock, ON Full Time

Oxford Optometry is a full scope optometric clinic and eyewear boutique. We provide the latest eye-care technology and services, while offering premium fashion eyewear, and now our busy clinic is looking for an Optometric Assistant to join our team! We are looking for someone creative and willing to learn, with a bubbly, outgoing personality who loves to work with people. Past optometric experience is not only valuable. but required for this position. Knowledge of frames, lens selection, contacts and dispensing is also ideal, and priority will go to those candidates with it. Our mission is to provide our customers with a great overall experience. We believe in understanding each patient’s unique visual needs and providing custom solutions designed specifically for each individual. Our clinic is equipped with leading edge technology and our boutique boasts a huge selection of fashion forward, designer frames. Our ideal candidate will be familiar with the operations of a busy optometric clinic and along with some guidance, would be able to assist in all aspects of the day to day business. A day might consist of anything from patient screening and pre-testing, to booking an appointment and even dispensing. We have a warm and welcoming practice with four Optometrists, no weekend hours and free parking. We support and encourage continued education and enjoy a culture of regular social and team building activities. Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
