About the Position
This opening is at our head office located in Surrey, BC.
This position is an important support role for Customer Service as well as Customs processing.
Hours for this position are:
Monday to Friday 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Description & Responsibilities are as follows,
· Updating shipment status in several computer systems throughout the day
- Updating shipment status in several computer systems throughout the day
- Ensuring shipments to be picked up are properly logged and verified in computer systems
- Receiving and checking documents
- Tracing Shipments
- Billing
- Set-up of cross border clearance
- PAPS set-up
- Handling calls and questions from clients and/or drivers
- Managing a high volume of emails
- Coordinating with customers and dispatch personnel
- Effectively communicating and interfacing with other departments to resolve issues
- Various administrative duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications
· High School diploma
· Cheerful and professional
· Self-starter with problem solving skills
· Good time management skills
· Strong keyboard skills
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
· Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
· Proficient computer skills
