Job Description
The Role
Following extensive global expansion over several years and a drive to standardise global common systems and platforms, PL Re is undertaking a major back-office transformation programme and has established a Divisional Data Team to develop and manage an enterprise-wide data solution, embedding best practice data governance and data quality practices. This team will support the business throughout its back-office transformation and will deliver significant improvement in efficiencies and the value derived from our data assets globally.
We are looking to appoint a Data Quality Analyst within the Data Governance Team to help establish basic data quality activities to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and completeness of PL Re’s data.
The team works closely with Global Technology Solutions (GTS) and Data Architecture teams as well as the regional Operations, Finance and Corporate Actuarial functions across Pacific Life Re.
The Data Quality Analyst reports directly to the AVP, Data Governance and will be responsible for implementing the data quality aspects of the Data Governance Programme, including relevant processes, behaviours, and systems.
This is a great opportunity to play a key role in establishing strong data quality practices in a global business. The Data Quality Analyst will have a strong focus on understanding the data PL Re needs, how it is used, and how it relates to the business. Working with stakeholders, the Data Quality Analyst will ensure the completeness, accuracy, and accessibility of our data on an ongoing basis.
